This is going to be sorta bold and forward but would you want to possibly pen pals?

I’ve been trying to get one since the summer and they keep bailing on me and I figured you might be more willing to.

I know you say that you don’t want people bothering you about your personal life… and now I’m losing my confidence. It’s fine if you don’t want to be. I was just wondering.
